Checking in!

Hello friends!

It has been awhile since we have seen you and we hope you are doing well during this time of COVID-19. We are excited to share what we, Lizz Dexter-Mazza and Jim Mazza, have been up to.

With most schools out, it seems we have found ourselves in a new state of busy.  You too?  We wanted to check in with you and see how you are coping with the new normal.  Are you in contact with your students?  Are you able to take any of the nuggets from your training and apply them to your interactions? Please join our DBT STEPS-A Discussion Group (listserv) or email us at info@dbtinschools.com.

Jim and I have finally found the time to work on projects that are near and dear to our hearts. First, we are actively working on the DBT STEPS-E (elementary) curriculum and hope to have it to you in 2021. Since mid-March, we have been working hard to find ways to support families and educators as everyone is trying to move to a work/school from home approach. At the end of March, we started livestreaming free DBT STEPS-A classes as we taught them to our own kids straight from our living room along with a 3-time a week Parenting Through COVID-19 show on Facebook.

Finally, we have  been busy building support materials for when you are back in the classroom and before that as well - posters, articles, lots of exciting stuff! Surf our site for specific information  and links to stay connected.

Stay healthy, stay safe and be skillful!!!
